2013 Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP)

The 2013 FTIP for the Tahoe Metropolitan Planning Organization is a four-year program of financially constrained surface transportation projects consisting of highway, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian projects for the Lake Tahoe Region that are in various stages of development through the year 2016.

The FTIP incorporates projects that receive federal funds, are subject to a federal action, or are regionally significant.

FTIP Amendments:

Occasionally the FTIP will be amended for changes in project cost, scope, schedule, or the addition or deletion of projects. When amendments occur, the project listings labeled above as Local, Caltrans, or NDOT will be updated. Amendment letters and approvals are posted to the right.

The California Department of Transportation delegates to TMPO the authority to approve Administrative Modifications to the Federal Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (FSTIP) in accordance with the revised FSTIP/Federal Transportation Improvement Program Amendment and Administrative Modification Procedures dated June 7, 2011.
